GOWANUS REPRO
Scanning, photographic, and print services based in Gowanus, Brooklyn studio
Gowanus Repro caters to artists, providing such services as art photography (in
my studio or yours), film scanning up to 6 x 9 cm, personalized web sites, and
professional archival ink jet printing, up to 17
” wide and virtually any length. I will also accept general film scanning
assignments, including batch scanning of archived film.
The equipment is operated soley by the owner/artist—a fact which is critical. Repro hardware (i.e., scanner, printers, cameras) are
only as good as the operator, and I personally have found most professional
vendors
—with the exception of pricey vendors who cater to the fashion industry—to disappointment. Not because of the equipment, but because the people
operating the equipment are unfamilar with the software drivers, and the
capabilities of the corresponding hardware.

Photography and scanning
Equipment includes the Nikon 9000 scanner and Canon 450D 12 MB Digital. I own both strobe and hot lights, and am experienced with color matching
paintings in particular.
Printing
Please make an appointment to view paper stock and print examples. Below is a

stock. Note that I have the Epson Luster paper in sheet and roll format,
allowing for prints of any length:
